General Terms
By booking a car rental service with Rapid Drive, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all bookings, rentals, and services provided by Rapid Drive in Dubai, UAE. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
Eligibility
To rent a car from Rapid Drive, you must be at least 21 years old (unless otherwise specified) and hold a valid driving license. International drivers must also present a valid passport and visa to rent a vehicle.
Vehicle Use
The rented vehicle must only be used for lawful purposes and by the driver(s) listed on the rental agreement. Any violations of traffic laws or regulations will be the responsibility of the renter. The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activity, racing, or off-road driving.
Rental Period and Fees
The rental period begins when the car is picked up and ends when it is returned to the agreed location. Charges are calculated on a daily basis, and any late returns will be subject to additional charges. All prices are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
Payment and Deposits
A deposit is required at the time of rental. The deposit will be refunded upon the safe return of the vehicle, minus any applicable fees for damage or other violations. Payments for rentals are accepted via credit/debit card or other methods as specified by Rapid Drive.
Insurance and Liability
All rentals come with basic insurance coverage, but the renter is liable for any damage or theft not covered under the insurance policy. Optional insurance packages may be offered for additional coverage.
Fuel Policy
The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as when it was rented. Failure to do so will result in refueling charges.
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup will incur a cancellation fee.
Accidents and Damage
In the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle, the renter must immediately inform Rapid Drive and file a report with the police if necessary. The renter is responsible for any damage or loss not covered by insurance.
Additional Drivers
Additional drivers can be added to the rental agreement for an extra fee. All additional drivers must meet the same eligibility requirements as the primary driver.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the UAE. Any disputes arising from these terms will be handled by the relevant courts in Dubai.
